The Alexis Company is a locally owned and operated screen printing business specializing in various mediums designed for personalized and custom work. Your design is evaluated for the best method for producing a quality product. This includes the selection of various inks, embroidery, transfer applications, digital concepts, sublimation, vinyl methods, and direct to garment techniques. We have served individuals, schools, church events, fundraising groups, local government, nonprofit organizations, community groups, political campaigns, family reunions, and small businesses. How long does it take to complete an order
Normal turn-around is 7-10 business days. This includes your initial layout, approval and payment. Rush service is available.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, most credit/debit cards; personal and business checks; cash or money orders as required. A 50% - 75% deposit may be required for custom work. Purchase orders are determined individually.
How is the size of my design determined?
We suggest a print size that adequately fits your garments and conveys the message of your design. Each quote gives the appropriate size of the artwork and the number/type of screens necessary based upon the quantity of adult and youth sizes. Standard printing is on the front, back, or left chest-pocket. Additional locations cost extra.
What is your set up fee for services?
The screen charge and other fees (if necessary) are included in each quote. The current screen charge is $55-$65 each. They provide a baseline for the intense details of the work order.
Can I provide my own shirts for printing?
Yes. The Alexis Company will print on customer provided garments. We require a disclosure to be signed to prevent liability from errors.
Can I mix and match shirt sizes and colors?
Yes. You can mix and match sizes and colors. Our case pricing status with most distributors allows us to pass that savings on to our clients. There is no minimum, however most printing start with 12 items.
Can I start my initial order and add to it later?
Yes. Although we ask you to order the exact quantity needed, you can reasonably add to your order before completion. Large quantities are considered and treated as completely new orders.
What do I need to know about printing?
No formal knowledge is required. We consult with each customer on the correct printing methods and options to effectuate your complete satisfaction. You can rely on our experience, attitude, and expertise.
Why do 2XL shirts and larger cost more?
The larger sizes 2XL – 6XL and 2XL Tall – 4XL Tall cost more due to the additional manufacturing costs associated with those garments. It is predicated on the price structure from the mills. And, some children sizes are more expensive. We take this into consideration when we provide your estimate or quote.
What is your minimum order for printing?
Our MINIMUM order is 6 pieces. You price is determined by the quantity and method necessary for adequate production. We required a MINIMUM of 100 pieces for Promotional Printing, and the turn-around time is 2-3 weeks.

Vector Graphics Correct Files

When you contact us, here is what we need. Send your artwork in a “file” that is familiar to you. We prefer “camera ready” artwork.
We suggest vector graphics in a high quality Photoshop File (i.e. jpg, psd, or tiff) Save files at 300 DPI and at the size you expect it to be printed, and do not flatten the layers.
You can also send vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator Files (i.e. esp, or ai) It is best to “create outlines” with your vector files, and save your artwork at the same size you expect it to be printed.
You may also send your original drawing of the image or artwork to be printed, and we will advise.
*Note that we do not use copyrighted images from the internet.
